I arrived early to ensure I got a parking space, last time it got very busy. Within 10 mins about 20 cars arrived some of them classics.
The Gate opened at 10.00am and we all rushed in. I was chatting to Neil and the first stop was a free Coffee at the refreshment stand.
We then made our way around the Large open area filled with the finished immaculate Cars mainly Jaguars, E Types XK120's XK140's and Mk2's. plus many other makes such as Porsche's, Mercedes and even a early 1970's Mk1 Range rover, over the other side were the vehicles they were working on. must be about 20 four post lifts with cars on every one. There was a Chimerara with the body off, chassis looked quite rusty. a Delorion with the body off. plis many other classics. they seem to specialise in E Types as there were quite a few Bodies in different stages of being restored.
Thanks to JD classics for inviting us, plus thanks to the members who came, Neil, Peter W, Bruce, Steve and Helen.
